A leading retail company based in West London are looking to bring in a Training Manager to cover a maternity leave for a period of 12 months. The ideal start date for this role will be the 1st of April.
Training is a huge part of what the company does and they are very passionate about bringing in somebody that can maintain the high levels set by the incumbent whilst having the scope to bring their own ideas to the table.
The Training Manager will be responsible for owning the learning offering with an approximate split of 80% delivery and 20% design.
You will provide exceptional product training , working with the buying, design and marketing teams to design and deliver regular training and ensuring that everyone knows everything about the products in stores and online.
The Training Manager will work closely with senior managers to highlight training needs for each team, thus helping to develop and deliver engaging training solutions when a need is identified.
The Training Manger will also look after all company inductions, these are usually between 3 and 10 staff at any one time. You will provide a fabulous and highly informative induction to each and every new staff member that joins the business.
Another element of training will be the call centre systems and technology - it is essential that you have experience of training staff in a call centre environment as this is a large part of your remit.
Most of this role will be delivered face to face but there is some scope to work from home occasionally where required.
You will have strong attention to detail, strong IT and technical skills and a natural ability to forge meaningful relationships at different levels across the business.
