This is a fantastic opportunity with a Bristol based organisation who are looking for a Talent and Leadership Development Lead to shape and drive its talent and leadership development agenda.
Reporting to the Head of L&D, this is a strategically focused position, working closely with the Executive team, Senior Leadership and the HR Business Partner community to identify and understand needs and to develop solutions and frameworks that target key leadership skills and capability areas. This concentrates around driving different behaviours and leadership and therefore has a strong focus around driving cultural change within the company as well as building a business for the future. This will involve several high profile project areas including amongst others:
* Further development of the Talent Development Programme for high potential individuals
* Integrating and embedding a new Leadership Development standard
* Managing and developing the Talent Management Programmes
* Review and developing succession planning and performance management
The position requires experience of developing and deploying leadership and talent programmes and preferably within a complex environment. The company itself is multisite and engineering led with a diverse workforce, experience of working within a similar environment would be desirable. Ideally they are looking for someone who is creative about how you develop people and with an agile and flexible approach, able to deliver practical and innovative solutions. It goes without saying that you will be able to work very collaboratively and be an excellent communicator and builder of relationships at senior levels.
While the company is Bristol based there is a large degree of flexibility and a good balance of WFH. They can also accommodate a compressed 4 day week.
