One of the biggest names in investment management is now looking to recruit a Share Plans Analyst to support their Reward team. This newly created role will work closely with the Deferred Compensation Manager and will advise the business on the best share-based and cash/fund based award structures and processes. This is a very rare career opportunity to join a tier 1 investment business (c6,000 staff) and be part of a highly stable, truly collaborative and supportive reward team. The compensation team is responsible for the development and implementation of remuneration policies and practices, providing advice, guidance and support for all compensation activities across the business. This involves developing compensation policies; working closely with HR Business Partners; gathering market data on compensation trends; designing appropriate incentive arrangements; implementing the annual compensation review; and managing deferred award plans. The key functions of this role will be to identify, assess and implement opportunities for process improvement. You will be responsible for ensuring data and information is processed and reported on, including record keeping, reporting and system transactions, dealing with colleagues in Continental Europe, Asia, the US and Latin America, as well as the UK HQ. The outcomes for this role are for the successful candidate to be a subject matter expert on deferred compensation plans, including the application of the relevant plan rules, have responsibility for accurate and timely delivery of key deferred awards processes, for example daily processing to support the employee payment service, settling share-sale proceeds from deferred compensation awards for employees outside the UK and preparation of grant files. You will prepare regular reporting and analysis, continuously identifying ways to improve processes to reduce risk, improve efficiency or address employee issues. As a result the business is looking to meet Share Plans Analysts or Reward Analysts who have gained experience supporting deferred award plans (ICSA Certificate in Employee Share Plans is an advantage). Advanced working knowledge of Excel is expected (Pivot Tables, V/XLookups) together with reporting specific platforms. As mentioned above, this is an ideal opportunity for someone to forge a long-term career within this fulfilling area of Reward. For more information, please contact Peter Francis at Frazer Jones
