A well established, global FTSE 100 manufacturing business are looking for a Senior HRBP who can oversee 3 manufacturing sites and drive the people plan forward. The company offers a career path for future growth
The company offers a great hybrid working model meaning 2 days on-site and 3 days working from home each week. Sites are in the London/ Kent and Cambridgeshire areas and you will be able to manage your diary as appropriate
You will have 1 direct report who handles the day to day operations over the sites and you will work closely with the business to develop from a leadership perspective key strategic deliverables. Reporting into the UK HRD this is a role that you will have a lot of leadership interaction and work closely with site managers and peers across the wider business
Duties:
- Be responsible for overseeing 3 sites in the London, Kent and Cambridgeshire area, working closely with the General Managers and their teams
- You will drive and deliver on the strategic People plan, overseeing workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership capability and talent development amongst other HR disciplines including ER, policy, processes, recruitment and L&D
- Manage the on-site HRBP, you will also be able to support with a hands on approach when needed and be operationally available
- Work with a mixture of blue and white collar workers and liaise with Trade Unions when needed
- Be a coach, advisor and continually look at how you can drive change and make a difference as well as add value to a better way of working
- Work closely with the workforce to improve employee engagement and implement new initiatives
- Work with your team to create talent pipelines, succession planning and drive forward the people agenda
Skills and Experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or similar sector environment
- You will be used to working in a multi-site role and happy to travel 2 x days a week (occasionally more if needed but rare)
- Experience working with and building relationships with Trade Unions, TUPE and experience working with both a blue and white collar workforce
- Experience in an operationally hands on role but also able to deliver the strategy
- You will be ambitious and driven, have ideas and the ability to turn them into reality
- Experience working in a Matrix organisation highly desirable
