- Learning & Development Manager (Regional role) - International Retail Group

An exciting international retail group with a renowned brand name and global presence that is going through growth. It is one of the world's most reputable global corporations. As part of its ongoing commitment to improve the business in the region and continuing business needs, they are currently seeking a high calibre Learning & Development Manager to join the regional team.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for all learning and development initiatives and programs in the organisation. Being an advisor to HR and business leaders, you will conceptualise, develop and implement a wholistic learning ecosystem, including needs assessment, training strategy, curriculum development, identifying effective delivery methods, creating your own modules / training content, running classroom training sessions, and assessment of results. You will play a critical role in talent development and retention strategy.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably with prior experience in the retail / FMCG / hospitality industry. You have a proven track record of personally creating new and innovative programmes, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving attributes. You will come with excellent communication and influencing skills.
You will be a true L&D Specialist and someone who takes pride in working independently. Key to your success will be your proactive attitude, ability to communicate well across levels, flexibility and your ability to initiate.
Essential: Strong experience in L&D and experience in curriculum design.
