The vacancy has a HR Manager title but is more like a Head of HR in that you would be responsible for all HR Operations and the team as well as strategic planning.
This is a truly generalist job, your tea support payroll, reward and ER as well as the whole business partnering offering. The client group is extremely inclusive and has a friendly culture but they do expect a very high touch service, a lot of hand holding and support. Even seasoned managers like HR to be involved in almost all their people issues.
The job has four direct reports who are already well established but will require development and support in order for them to reach their own personal career goals.
Working for the Director of HR, you will have a lot of autonomy and a lot to contribute so this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a strategic HR Business Partner or Manager and has plenty of ambition.
Currently you'd be working at home and sometime next year you'd be back in the office but with a sensible and flexible blend of home and office working. My client would also consider someone who wishes to work four days a week or a full time week.
