I am delighted to be partnering with a leading Professional Services firm in Leeds to help them recruit an HR Manager. This is a 12 month FTC with the strong possibility of being made permanent. The client will consider those with a notice period.
As the HR Manager you will have responsibility for two regional offices and a headcount of c.150 employees. Reporting to a Senior HR Manager and working closely with the Regional Director the position covers all operational HR activity to include, providing expert advice and guidance to directors and line managers on best practice, complex case work, planning, management and support on consultation activities. You will support and coach line managers on capability performance and sickness absence and will ensure effective employee relations matters such as: probationary reviews, disciplinary, grievance investigations are dealt with. You will be a key point of contact when it comes to people, policy and process improvement and support the HR Director to implement company-wide change and ensure the HR strategy is delivered across these two offices.
You will have worked at Manager or Senior HR Advisor level in a broad operational HR role preferably within a Professional Services or partnership led environment. You must demonstrate extensive employee relations experience, with the ability to identify risk and work towards providing sustainable solutions. You will be a confident communicator with strong attention to detail and the ability to influence others and make strategic decisions.
The firm operates a hybrid working model but the ability to access the office 2 days/week would be ideal.
