Our client, the leading global finance and asset management firm focused on law, is looking for an HR Generalist to support their employee population of 175 located right in midtown/outside of Grand Central Station. This role is ideal for a Recruiter who is looking to move into a Generalist role in the next year. The priority for this client is to handle talent acquisition as they have about 25-30 openings currently and then, as the market slows down, get involved with HR projects such as implementing a new performance management system, selecting an ATS, revamping and rolling out a new onboarding process, etc. This person will report to the VP of HR who is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience who still has room to grow and looking for a true HR mentor. Must be able to take direction yet be naturally curious enough to ask the right questions, be a good listener and be able to juggle multiple tasks while wearing different hats. A competitive total rewards package including base salary, a generous bonus and stock options is offered. They are currently following a hybrid model with 2 days in the office (preferably Tuesday and Thursday) and 3 days from home.
