Our client, a premier Reform synagogue in New York City, is looking for a HR Director to lead their small but growing HR team. This person will be tasked with continuing to centralize HR and improve all of their HR processes and systems to elevate their HR function as well as handle performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, benefits administration, HRIS administration and reporting, DEI, recruitment, on-boarding/off-boarding, etc. The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and support around 300 employees. 8+ years of experience in a similar size and complex non-profit or academia/mid-size school system is preferred.
