We have a current opportunity for a HSE Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be based Melbourne's inner eastern suburbs.
About the Role
Reporting into the Director of People & Culture, you will lead the health & safety function Nationally. Understanding that not everyone is the same, you're role will be to partner with the business building health and safety capability whilst changing daily behaviours. As well as this you will build and maintain systems and policies, enhance wellbeing plans and increase capability across the whole business.
To see you successful in this role it is imperative you are a new aged Safety Professional who holds pride in changing the perception of safety people in the field. You will demonstrate creativity and the ability to demonstrate initiative. Culture is key for this role so it is imperative you are a people person and demonstrate the ability to build excellent, respectful relationships. You will be a solid and effective communicator with the ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
Technically you will need sound experience in a similar WHS role, ideally within a community focused environment. Experience in implementing WHS management system and programs is also imperative for this role coupled with a Diploma in OH&S and/ or equivalent.
A current drivers licence and availability to travel nationally will be required.
Essential to the role is comprehensive experience in claims and injury management and early intervention programs.
