This national business with sites across the country including the Midlands and South Yorkshire is looking for a Head of Talent Management to build the Talent Development and Talent Attraction offering. This is a superb opportunity to work alongside the HR Director, playing a pivotal role in the development of the people agenda.
As Head of Talent Management, you will work with senior stakeholders and impact the wider business, building a robust and sustainable Talent strategy. You will work with the Business to understand their business objectives, challenges and opportunities, shaping a Talent Strategy that drives key areas including leadership capability, further career development, attraction & retention and performance.
You will also play a key part in coaching, developing and supporting line management to develop their people management capability, implementing key and managing specific projects to deliver solutions. In addition you will shape and develop your team.
The successful candidate will have worked as a either an HR Business Partner with a strong leaning towards Talent Development or a Learning & Development Specialist with Talent Attraction/ Resourcing experience.
As Head of Talent Management you will have demonstrable skills as a true Business Partner with a flexible style, able to influence stakeholders in a variety of ways. You will also be resilient with experience of taking a business through change as well as developing and leading high-performing teams.
You will ideally have proven experience within a unionised environment within manufacturing, engineering or logistics.
Flexibility is offered with this role including hybrid working, typically 2 days per week in one of the offices. In addition, this is an exciting opportunity to work with autonomy and build the team, as well as offering future career growth & progression.
The role comes with an attractive base salary of up to £80,000 + car allowance, bonus and benefits.
