We're working with a Stamford-based global marketing company to hire a newly created Director of Talent Acquisition who will formally stand up and refine their recruitment capabilities. The company currently has a corporate and a technical recruiter, both of whom will report to this Director. The US recruitment team currently reports into Human Resources locally, with HR picking up many of the responsibilities as the volume of requisitions increases. The Director will officially carve out and own all aspects of recruiting execution for the US market, but will partner with the company's international (Europe and APAC) recruitment teams to set the global strategy for talent acquisition.

Our client is in the midst of an iCims implementation with a 1Q22 go live plan which this Director will lead and own, in addition to vendor selection and management, workforce planning, setting the global sourcing strategy, and developing a suite of recruitment reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive recruitment experience with 5+ years of team leadership and ownership of strategic projects. Global experience, whether direct or indirect, is critical for success in this role. Experience with the implementation of iCims, or other applicant tracking systems, would be a plus. While the Director won't carry a large number of searches, there is an expectation that this individual will operate as a player/coach and be comfortable toggling between being strategic and hands-on.

Come January, they will transition to a hybrid model which will require working onsite 2 days per week. Their ideal candidate will have a drive for success coupled with humanity and the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
