A leading property firm in London is currently seeking a Deputy HR Director to cover a maternity leave for 6-9 months at this stage. You will report into the Group HR Director and also manage the HRBP team of 4, sitting in the wider HR function of c. 20-25 headcount.
The incumbent is planning to go in May so the firm is looking to get someone on board by early-mid April 2020.
This is effectively a number 2 role so you'll work closely with the Group HR Director to support her with Board meeting preparation, devise the HR strategy and oversee the HR function as well as the immediate HRBP team.
It's a split role, so as well as supervising the team you will also be responsible for business partnering two practice group which will manage a population of c. 350 in total. Day to day, you will deal with all the cyclical processes for these groups including year-end, promotions cycles, quarterly budgeting, complex ER cases and also working on firm-wide projects that impact the overall business and HR team.
Stakeholder management is absolutely key in this role and you must have experience supporting senior leaders and working closely with the business to be considered. The role will suit a commercial, hands on generalist who is able to flex their style and approach and enjoys working with a varied population. Professional services experience is preferred and you must have team management experience to be considered for this role.
